About
The Kolors are an Italian band whose blend of funk, disco, pop, rock and electronic energy has made them one of the country's defining contemporary acts. Formed in Milan in 2009 around frontman Antonio "Stash" Fiordispino (vocals, guitar), Alex Fiordispino (drums) and Dario Iaculli (bass), the group built its reputation as the resident band at Le Scimmie, one of the city's most celebrated venues, before touring internationally and opening for major artists including Paolo Nutini, Gossip, Hurts and Atoms For Peace. Their breakthrough came in 2015, when they won the television show Amici and released the album "Out," which reached number one on Italy's best-selling albums chart and held the position for a record-breaking twelve consecutive weeks, earning multiple platinum certifications. A sold-out summer tour followed, including a performance for more than 10,000 spectators at the Expo 2015 Open Air Theatre, alongside a nomination for Best Italian Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards and a Rolling Stone Italia cover. Over the following years the band expanded their sound across the album "You," recorded in London with a roster of world-class collaborators, and a series of major Italian hits including "Pensare male" with Elodie, the most-played Italian song on radio in 2019. Their international moment arrived in 2023 with "Italodisco," which spent eleven weeks at number one on the Italian chart, surpassed 300 million streams, achieved multi-platinum status across Europe and a Double Diamond certification in Poland, ranking among the most Shazamed tracks in the world that year. A sustained run of successes has followed, including the platinum single "Karma," the most-played Italian song on radio across 2024, multiple Sanremo Music Festival appearances, and a fully sold-out European tour spanning Germany, Switzerland, Poland and the Baltic states. With their 2026 single "Rolling Stones" opening a fresh chapter blending reggae, funk-pop attitude and tropical groove, The Kolors continue to evolve while remaining one of Italy's most in-demand live acts.
